Excellent food, very clean, expect to wait slightly longer for food here since it is freshly prepared. Great selection of beverages. Another great attribute is consistency. The food is always excellent, busy or slow. Very thankful for the complimentary chips and salsa— and they refill those chips for you as well
Holy Mole! Finally a reason to drive to Atlantic City. This place is the first truly great restaurant I’ve found in a half hour driving radius. Other places have one or two decent dishes - good enough for occasional takeout. But Mexico Restaurant is worth actually coming down to in-person. It’s easy to park (1/hour) and hard to miss, with a beautiful mural out front, clearly advertising the high quality of the establishment. We came down on a random Monday night and we were treated like VIPs. The place was quiet, full of other diners, but not packed. We even saw some coaches from Bright Stars (the local equivalent of a celebrity sighting!) Obviously the main reason to come is the food. Every course was masterfully prepared, explained, and recommended. From the simplest appetizers like beans and chips, to the complex combination dishes and flavorful soups, down to the varied desserts and nuanced drinks. I recommend coming with a big group and trying some of it all. Not a single miss. Even the children’s menu was tasty - our girl is a very picky eater! We’ll be back many times.
The food is amazing shrimp taco and burrito delicious and the rice is so light and flavorful. The mango Mezcal drink is to die for.
Came here on the advice of a friend during Atlantic City restaurant week. So I ordered off of that menu started off with mini quesadillas that had beef it was cooked very good and with the right amount of spiciness not too weak but not overpowered. My main course was Torta Mexico that was also very good my only complaint is the avocado was a little bit hard but it didn't wreck the meal. Then for dessert I had fried ice cream served in a tortilla shell that was sat on top of some vanilla cream and chocolate sauce that really topped everything in my opinion I never had fried ice cream before and it was awesome.I washed it all down with a margarita that was a very good but just a tad bit heavy on the salt for me but manga reader is usually not my drink of choice to begin with so I'm not an expert. All in all I would definitely go back and I would recommend this place to people.
One thing I love is an authentic restaurant! And this is it. Amazing margarita and shrimp tacos, so delicious. Waitress was great too, very friendly. Please visit this establishment.. like and follow me please.
We got here within an hour of closing. Food was very good. Would for sure come back when in town.
Always excellent food. Had mole enchiladas, guacamole, lemon shots, fried ice cream. They never disappoint! Oh and the bar has this cool wireless charging pad built into for your phone. Pretty neat!
